Garai reasons through maps of the spreading bugs, then bikes past a honking traffic jam on a city street.

Panel 1: GARAI (thought): The bugs are expanding in a circular pattern, and will have to spread out, diminishing in density over time.
Panel 2: GARAI (thought): But they seem to pause at each building, buying more time to escape, so the path away from campus with the most buildings will give the most lead time.
Panel 3: GARAI (thought): That also means that there are more people on those paths;
GARAI (thought): But, given that it is early in the morning, most of those buildings contain offices, so they will be mostly empty.
Panel 4: [SFX: HONK! HONK!]
Panel 5: (no dialogue) (Garai bikes past stalled cars)
